"HOLD ON"

I like what The University of Louisville coach told his football players preceeding the upcoming season. He told them, "Hold the rope." In other words, they all have to pull each other up. If someone is hurt, the others have to carry on. Tonight, this team plays in the Orange Bowl against Wake Forest. They have helped each other keep on keeping on. And look what it's gotten them!
I wonder who you and I know who needs us to hold them up? They may not ask for help. They
may not think they need help. But you and I can offer help with our words and/or our actions.
Isn't that what the Good Samaritian did? We need to go and do likewise, don't we? What's holding us back from holding others up? Maybe we need to offer ourselves as we carry on with this thing called life.
