UNTIL THEN

My father's last sibling died today. She was 89 years old. Dad will be 96 April 2nd. Who
would of ever thought that things would go like that? Not me. Dad has gone through the
valley of the shadow so many times during his lenghty life time. Yet he has always come
out on top. He amazes us with his firm faith and deep desire to live his life for the glory
of God.
Dad will not be able to attend the funeral due to his health and the weather. It' so sad
that he can't be there for a sister who meant so much to him. But one of these days
Dad will reunite with those who have gone on before him. Until then, Dad will seek to
encourage others who walk through valleys such as the one he is walking through right
now. I know from personal experience as I myself walk through a deep, dark valley of
my own. Dad would hold out his tired old wrinkled hands and point up to Heaven and
say, "But until then..." That's what keeps me going in the valley or own a high mountain.
What keeps you going until then?
