"And That's the Way It Is"

I took my wife out to eat tonight at Pepper's Resturant. The place was packed with people
feeding their faces. It's amazing that we didn't know anyone except the people who work
there which says how often we go there. We both were pleased with our food and service.
We love mexican food whenever we eat at Pepper's.
We came home and learned that Walter Conkite has died at age 92. My Grandaddy lived
in Louisville with us back when Walter Conkite did the evening news. He always thought
Conkite should be president. I think had he run he would of won way ahead of anyone
else.
I finished my mystery today so I have to go get another one sometime Saturday. I think
I may change to someone else since I've been reading the same author for the last three
books I've read. Stephen White has a new one out in August so I may wait to buy a book.
That's why I like the Library where it's at no cost unless I fail to finish and renew a book
at the right time.
I'm ready for bed so I'm heading that direction as soon as I say, "And that's the way it
is. Goodnight."
