MEALS ON WHEELS

Last Tuesday night our family was fed a meal on wheels when some people from
our church came by with food for the family. Since I have a broken foot and some
fractured ribs and our daughter had surgery and a sore foot, we're depending so
much upon one person to feed us daily. My wife has gone the 2nd mile and more
in taking care of us. So it was so special when meals on wheels showed up to give
Janice a chance to "eat, dtink & be happy."
Speaking of being happy, we were fed fantatstic food and it was served by two
servants of the Lord. We couldn't of asked for more! (well, they could come back!)
They even did the dishes while we ate and watched tv from the couch and chairs
in the family room.
Our family is so blessed to be at Broadway UMC. We hope that we can serve our
Lord as well as these dear people of God have us. By the way, we're still eating
left overs from our meal on wheels. Yum! Yum!
