I have been named the Congregational Care Minister at Broadway. I will visit the elderly
and do a monthly devotion at the Retirement Village once a month. I will be "on call" next
week which means I will visit those in the hospitals.
Since I served as pastor at Broadway for five years several years ago, I know many of
the people already. Along with consecration communion at the 8:15 service on Sunday
and being a greeter from time to time, I will now be with the people even more. My
father did something similiar at the retirement home where he resided for a few years.
I guess I'm following in his footsteps. "Like father, like son," they say.
Now that I'm retired, it's time to go to work.

I am so excited for the people of Broadway, for you, and most of all, and most selfishly, for myself. Welcome Pastor.
That is great! You will be so good at that!!
This makes me really happy! Congrats.
