"The Buddy System"

Our daughter's dog, Derby, is being taken for a walk a couple of times a week by a friend of Jennifer’s. When we tell Derby that Amanda is coming to take him for a walk, he gets so exited. Then when she shows us, he jumps and jumps. What amazes me is that she calls Derby “Buddy”. She says "Hi Buddy." When she's ready to take him for a walks she says, "Here, Buddy." Derby doesn't seem to care if the name isn't correct. What matters most is that he has a new friend taking him on walks. We all need a Buddy. When I was at Camp Loucon swimming, I had to have a buddy or I couldn't stay and swim. It's called the "Buddy System." And it works well. Do you have a Buddy system? Someone who you get excited about being with? If you were to say, "Here, Buddy” would anyone come to you? If not, maybe you need to get with the program and have a buddy. Even if you have to go to "Rent-a-Buddy." Just kidding. This is serious stuff. "What a Friend We Have in Jesus". Talk about best Buddy!
